In 1861, Simon Arnold opened a tavern in downtown Cincinnati. In 1853, Christian Moerlein began brewing beer in Over-the-Rhine. In 2013, Moerlein’s brewing operations came home TO OTR, and produced the first Moerlein beer to be brewed in OTR in over 90 years…The Arnold’s 1861 porter.

Maya Drozdz and Michael Stout, the creative duo behind VisuaLingual, have taken root in OTR where they create their unique “Seed Bombs.” Everything is done by hand – muddy, muddy hands. They were kind enough to open their studio to us and let us look on while they did their dirty work.

Cincinnati Growing Cincinnati is a short film we produced as a toast to the local entrepreneurial spirit. It made it’s debut at the CEOs for Cities National Meeting on May 17th,the theme of which was “the City as a Startup.”
