the Queen City Project

Back for its second year, CoSign returned to Northside to bring even more stunning signage to the neighborhood. The months-long process built up to a grand reveal on Black Friday, an event that’s quickly becoming a Holiday tradition.

With their sights set on critical mass and creating the impact needed to make a project like CoSign a truly replicable process, the minds at Haile/US Bank Foundation and the American Sign Museum decided they had a job to finish in Northside. A second installation of nine additional signs was once again introduced on Black Friday of 2013 to the already existing signage from 2012’s first ever CoSign initiative. And, boy, did it leave a mark.

If you haven’t visited recently, the Hamilton Avenue strip in the heart of Northside is home to some of the city’s most exciting and eccentric new businesses. Adding to the recent buzz, the latest round of CoSign-induced signage dipped into Cincinnati’s thriving talent pool of artists and fabricators to deliver the final touches on Northside’s drive-by facelift.
